This series of four classes are designed for beadwork BEGINNERS. You will use needle and thread and big beads to stitch four different bracelets. Each class introduces a new stitch.
You could take any one class, or the whole series, for a good introduction to this kind of beadwork.
In each class we will talk about sources for supplies, print and on-line resources, and ideas for follow-up projects that use the same stitch.

Each project kit includes all the materials needed to stitch a bracelet that will fit your wrist: needles, thread, beads, clasp, and step-by-step printed instructions.
Bead mats, task lights, and reference books will be available for your use.

This is an elegant bracelet that uses unusual colours of cube beads and accent beads! It is finished with a ball and socket clasp. Learn square stitch—notice how the beads line up in rows and columns. This sturdy stitch is used in patterns with horizontal and vertical lines. This is a family affair! Male or female; young or senior! Work together in family pairs to create a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. Choose from a wide selection of beads and supplies as you learn techniques and skills for making jewellery.
Class fee: $15.00 for the first person, $5 for the second. Includes taxes.

Make Bracelets to Support Cancer Research
Learn to make a bracelet, and support cancer research at the same time. You will make one or more bracelets & pay for only the cost of the materials. You will have the option of paying the full price for the bracelet and taking it home with you. The rest of the bracelets will be sold in the gift shop to raise money for cancer research. Materials for two bracelet styles will be available, one with coloured cats eye beads that represent the different kinds of cancer, and one with pink Swarovski crystals for breast cancer.
Class fee: No class fee for this one!
Kit fees: Pay $5 for each Bracelet A you make, or $10 for each Bracelet B. This covers the cost of materials. The bracelets you make will be donated to the gift shop to raise money for cancer research.
If you wish to take home one or more bracelets, They will be sold for $15 and $25 respectively.

Beadstringing: Making Gifts for Christmas
Introduction
This series of three classes are all for beading BEGINNERS. You will use a variety of beadstringing supplies and learn techniques such as how to attach a clasp or how to make a loop with wire as you create earrings, a bracelet, or a necklace. Each class introduces new techniques.
You could take any one class, or the whole series, for a good introduction to this type of beadwork.
In each class we will talk about sources for supplies, print and on-line resources, and ideas for follow-up projects that use the same skills.
What to Bring?
Bring eyeglasses or magnifiers if you need them.
What is Provided?
For each project a varied and appropriate selection of the required beads, findings and supplies will be available for you to choose from. All necessary tools will be provided.
Bead mats, task lights, and reference books will be available for your use.
