Do you have a minimum order?

No. But you need to consider the cost of shipping your order. See the question below about special shipping arrangements for low value orders.

Can my order be cancelled?

Your order can be cancelled at any time prior to shipment. If your payment has been processed, you will receive a full refund.

Discounts: Do you sell wholesale?

For jump rings, we offer discounts according to the quantity of troy ounces purchased.

All troy ounce packages of jump rings are combined for discounts of 5% on 3-5 troy ounces; 10% on 6-9 troy ounces; and 15% on more than 10 troy ounces.

For wholesale prices for kits to stores, call or email to discuss.

Discounts: How do discounts work?

There are discounts for quantity purchases of jump rings by the troy ounce. (See the previous question about wholesale pricing.)

From time to time there are also discount coupons offered in my newsletter and on the Marilyn Gardiner Design Facebook page.

Discounts cannot be combined or stacked!  You will need to pick the best ONE for your order.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa (credit or debit), Mastercard, or AMEX in Canada. Visa (credit or debit), Mastercard, or Discover in the U.S. Payments are handled online through our credit card processor (Beanstream). We do NOT see your Credit Card number.

Another alternative is to use PayPal and pay with Visa, MasterCard or PayPal funds on their secure website.

Optionally, you can email or phone us with your order and/or payment information. Do not send us your credit card information by email.

What currency do you use for prices?

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Your credit card will be charged in your own currency.

What do you charge for shipping? How long will it take to arrive?

Canada & U.S
Shipping to Canadian Addresses is $9.50 for orders under $200 and FREE for orders over $300.
Shipping is by Canada Post: Expedited to Canadian Addresses (1-2 days between major urban centres) (remote: up to 7 days). This includes a tracking number and $100 insurance. The actual shipping charge is always more than $9.50 and is subsidized by Gardiner Design.

Shipping to U.S. addresses is $16.95 for orders under $200 and FREE for orders over $300. Shipping is by Canada Post: Expedited Parcel (4-8 days between major urban centres) (though there could be Customs delays).This includes a tracking number and $100 insurance. The actual shipping charge is always more than $16.95 and is subsidized by Gardiner Design.

We do our best to ship within 1 business day of receiving your order. We will notify you immediately of any unavoidable delays or if an item is out-of-stock or discontinued.

• Estimated delivery time is in business days (excludes weekends and statutory holidays)
• Packages are covered for $100 insurance. Please inform us if you wish to purchase extra optional insurance.

If you have a low value order you could choose less expensive Small Packet-USA Surface or Small Packet-USA Air (no tracking or insurance: at your risk). See www.canadapost.ca for more information. Call or email us!

If it is a thin, small package it will cost $1.80 plus tax.

Do you accept international orders?

We also ship to most other countries, but often the cost to ship is prohibitive. We would be pleased to give a quote on request.

Can I choose a cheaper method of shipping?

Yes. Contact us for quotes.

What sales tax do you charge?

Out-of-Canada customers: NO taxes.

Canadian customers will be charged GST or HST according to province of residence:

How will I know my order has been shipped?

When you finish placing an order using the online shopping cart you will receive an email to confirm your order. Your order will be processed as soon as payment has been cleared and it will be shipped within 24 hours for in-stock items. You will be contacted for instructions concerning out-of-stock items.

When we ship the order we will trigger an email from Canada Post that will include your tracking number and estimated delivery date. This number can be used on the Canada Post website to track the order. US customers can also use it on the USPS website once the package crosses into the U.S.

We will receive an additional email from Canada Post upon delivery.
