Jewellery Making Classes with Marilyn Gardiner
We offer jewellery making classes at different skill levels (beginner to advanced) for a variety of projects (bracelets, earrings, necklaces) using chain mail techniques. All our jewellery making classes are taught by Marilyn Gardiner and, in larger classes, include an assistant to help you master the techniques being demonstrated as you follow the illustrated instructions.
Each class includes all the tools and materials you will need. So whether you’re a beginner or an experienced jewellery artist, you’ll be sure to leave our class well on your way to finishing a piece of jewellery you’ll wear with pride.
Chain mail jewellery makes an elegant fashion statement. In one of Marilyn’s chainmail jewellery making classes you’re guaranteed to learn a lot.
Here’s a brief sampling – jewellery wire (different types and sizes, how to measure, how to make a jump ring), tools (pros and cons of short and long handles, best kind for chain mail) and clasps (explore the different types).
You’ll also learn how to open and close jump rings like a pro. Following clearly illustrated instructions, and aided my Marilyn, you’ll leave this class well on your way to finishing a piece of chain mail jewellery that will inspire you to try more chain mail projects.
Besides discovering your creative inner self, you’ll leave the class with original pieces of jewellery. Marilyn Gardiner Design teaches jewellery making classes at Bead Stores and at Bead and Craft shows. Check out the links below and pick something that interests you–hope to see you there!
Custom Jewellery Making Classes
Besides small group jewellery making classes at stores and bead shows, Marilyn Gardiner also offers private, one-on-one, or custom, small group teaching sessions. To schedule a jewellery making class, go to our Private Classes page and read all about it. And if you have any questions, just send us a quick email.
